Accessibility

Louflin Law wants everyone to be able to use this site, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, magnify the screen, or need text, colour or motion adjusted. This page explains what the site offers and how to tell the firm when something doesn’t work.

Not yet published. The description of the accessibility options is complete. The conformance claim, the known limitations and the contact details are commitments only the firm can make, so they are marked below rather than written for you.

Adjusting the site

Every page has an accessibility button. In the attorney workspace it sits in the menu bar.

Text

Text size up to 200%, an easy-read font and a dyslexia-friendly font, bold text, wider line and letter spacing, left-aligned text, and highlighted links and headings.

Colour and contrast

Increased or inverted contrast, lower or higher saturation, greyscale, and colour-vision correction for red, green and blue colour weakness.

Reading and navigation

A reading guide and a reading mask that follow the pointer or keyboard focus, read aloud, a big cursor, a stronger focus outline, stopping animations, hiding images, and a list of the page’s regions and headings to jump straight to.

Quick profiles

One-tap bundles for seizure safety, low vision, dyslexia and focus. Each switches on a set of the settings above, and any of them can still be changed by hand.

Settings are saved in this browser only and are never sent to Louflin. The site also follows your device: text responds to your browser’s text-size setting, and animations are kept to a minimum when your system asks for reduced motion. The options here add to the accessibility features built into your browser and operating system. They do not replace them.

Our standard

What the site is measured against, and how it was checked.

Placeholder — firm to supply

The standard the firm works to (normally WCAG 2.2 Level AA), whether the site has been tested against it, by whom, and when.

A conformance claim is a representation. State only what an audit supports. “Partially conforms”, with the gaps listed below, is an honest and common answer.

Known limitations

Where the site falls short today, and the plan to fix it.

Placeholder — firm to supply

Each part of the site that does not yet meet the standard, why, what a visitor can do instead, and when it will be fixed.

Likely candidates: the site is in English only, older uploaded PDFs may not be tagged for screen readers, and third-party content may not meet the standard.

Feedback and contact

How to report a problem, and what happens next.

Placeholder — firm to supply

A monitored email address and phone number for accessibility problems, the response time the firm commits to, and how to get the same information or service another way in the meantime.

Give the date this statement was last reviewed, and review it whenever the site changes significantly.
